Before you try to lock the car, walk to the hatch and manually push the hatch open handle towards the front of the car. The hatch wont lock if the handle is not fully released. It locks and unlocks, with the fob, with the button on the driver's door and by hand but it won't open using the inside or outside handle. When locking and unlocking it sounds like the mechanism inside the door is working.Open and close the driver door (this has to be done within 45 seconds of step 4). Press and release any button on the remote. Horn will sound 2 times to indicate that the remote has been programed. If you have more remotes, repeat steps 8 to 10 (up to 4 remotes could be programed). Remove the key from ignition.
