I know the E tire is overkill for a 1/2 ton truck but is seems that the C tire does not leave a ...I changed the stock Bridgestones to BFG AT's (load range "D") and immediately noticed a 10-15% loss in gas mileage. the new tires weigh about 15 lbs heavier per corrner which I'm sure is the main reason for mileage loss. I never pulled my current trailer with the stock tires so I can't comment on any changes there.
