1. Aug 7, 2021. #1. I have installed a 2 barrel Holley Sniper EFI on my 69 Scout 345. As I wrap up this upgrade I'm not certain where the best location for the PCV hose. Sniper 4 barrels have a PCV nipple in the back of the unit. However the two barrel units do not. The front of the EFI has a 3/8 nipple labeled manifold vacuum in parentheses ...I'm excited! Sniper sucks once you start having problems with it. Put it on a customer's jeep with a 4.2 and, while it's better than the TBI conversion it already had, there's almost no in-depth data on how it works, nor can you manually tune it with a PC. At least on the 2bbl kit we used.Today I actually inspected the Holley Sniper throttle body and I see no reason clearances would be any different than running a Holley 350 2 barrel. I did grab the shape/configuration I will need for the cable linkage mounting bracket, just a slight modification of the Holley 350 brackets that I have hundreds of- - -easy deal.
