Hi, My 2012 F-150 is reaching 60k miles and it is time to change the differential fluid. My mechanic is saying to do this I would use a tool to suck out the old fluid and then put in new fluid. Every video I watch on youtube shows the differential housing being removed so old fluid can drain out, then being replaced with a new gasket or RTV ...Drain the liquid into a pan after removing the “drain” cap (the lower one).
