Blessing 2 vs dusk
Here's some qualms I might have with each that I would very much appreciate if anyone could give som input on. Performer 5: These look like they would be good across all genres and are smaller in size, but my main concern is they would lack detail compared to the blessing 3. Also cheaper than the B3.S12>Timeless>Dusk for me. I was really excited to try the Dusk out and when I got them I was let down quite a bit when I finally got a set. It's an example of shilling and hype driving popularity and demand. The original Blessing 2, honestly, is better and cheaper (and actually goes on sale every now and then).- The mid-range reminds me of classic Shure earbuds. The difference is that Blessing 2 covers high and low spectrums nicely, as well. I strongly recommend Moondrop Blessing 2 in "Less than $300" price range. I am now curious to find out how other Moondrop products such as Kato and Aria sound like (in lower price ranges).

Late reply, but I had the same question. I have both the 6xx and blessing 2. I agree that the Blessing 2 are better in terms of technical performance, but the 6xx's are very similar honestly. The main difference is that the blessing 2s are brigther and the sound is more intense since it's directtly in my ear rather than an open back headphone.Specification . One dynamic driver and four balance armature drivers make up the five-driver hybrid configuration used by the Performer 5. The drivers are all created in-house by the AFUL Acoustics. The dynamic driver, in my opinion, is responsible for the low frequencies, while the other four balancing armatures handle the midrange and treble.Accessories and Build Quality (Score: 7.5/10) The Blessing 2 comes in a typical Moondrop Audio marketing philosophy, its Moondrop trademark and a cover of an anime character. In the box, it contains a set of ear tips, a pretty nice looking copper cable, a leather zip case and the Blessing 2 itself.Bass and mids are way more pleasing with the Dusk than on the original.They are way warmer/thicker than the original Blessing 2. I think instrument separation/imaging is quite a bit better on the original Blessing 2, but maybe this is just because of the “thinner” notes.
Especially with the Dusk. Try the regular Moondrop Blessing 2 first as Dusk is only available on ShenzhenAudio right and they have shipping/stock issues (some people are delayed/waiting for more than a month). They both sound stunning and very balanced to my ears, the ear tip choice can very much narrow the amount bass difference between them, Blessing comes with 3 different pairs and Timeless comes with more. Foreword. Managed to get my pair of Blessing 2 (B2) at $297 from my local trade group after reading the positive review of crinacle recently and here are some of my brief thoughts. My mother tongue is not English, so please excuse some minor grammar and spelling mistakes.Variation is really good but I wouldn't consider a total upgrade over blessing 2. Slight improvement over bass and treble don't worth 200+ EUR over the blessing 2.
