Launch the BG3 Mod Manager and head to Settings. Then, press the Open Preferences option. Set the Saved Load Order to the following path or directory: Local Drive:\Users\ (User)\AppData\Local\Larian Studios\Baldur’s Gate 3\PlayerProfiles\Public. I had added mods to a current save and ran into the main menu issue. Exporting mods and load order list in BG3MM to a zip, then deleting the mods in BG3MM, confirmed that I could then run the game in this state, and then exported the zip file back into BG3MM. 3. Leave camp and talk to any NPC. Once you leave dialogue, load into the same save again and the ambiance will be blissfully scream-free!
